Occupational Therapy treatment focuses on helping children with physical, sensory, or cognitive disability be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. OT helps children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. 

 

Occupational Therapy is incorporated into all the Foundation’s divisions – including Industrial Arts, Healthy Lifestyles Education, and Psycho-Oncology, in accordance to the Psycho Social Standards of Care.  

 

Occupational therapy helps with:

Physical Fitness + Endurance 

Fine Motor Skills

Visual Perception

Hand-Eye Coordination

Cognitive Skills/Problem Solving/Visual Skills

Developmental Delays

Feeding + Oral Function

Activities Of Daily Life

Sensory, Attention + Behavior Issues

Medical + Adaptive Aids 

Promote Self-Esteem

Support Successful Learning
