MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY
Mental Health refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how people think, feel, and behave. Mental health can affect daily living, relationships, and physical health.
The Austin Hatcher Foundation offers Mental Health Services that focus on the emotional well being of each family member who has been affected by pediatric cancer.
Mental Health Services are offered by licensed mental health providers who are able to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals, families and groups. These treatments encompass a variety of evidenced based therapeutic methods and techniques, in order to alleviate mental or emotional illness, symptoms or disorders. AHF mental health providers work very closely with other providers in the community to ensure the optimal collaborative care for each person seen.
