About
The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer’s mission is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize each child’s quality of life through essential specialized intervention beginning at the time of diagnoses and continuing throughout survivorship. The Foundation provides services to children with cancer as well as their families through the Education Advancement Center. The foundation provides all services at no cost to the families. Services are funded solely by the generous donations of its supporters.

College junior or senior pursuing business or nonprofit management degree
Responsibilities
Learn about the Foundation’s history, vision, mission, and impact
Promote the company’s vision and create awareness for the Foundation while learning and adhering to Foundation Brand Guidelines
Research current trends and suggest ideas for the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and community presence
Gain general working knowledge of the Foundation’s Donor Management System- NEON
Prepare materials and mailings for donor stewardship and fundraisers (newsletters, etc.)
Propose new ideas to improve the data entry process and support implementation
Help with correspondences and documentation related to the Foundation’s rental space
Utilize internship experience and observations to create a Development + General Administrative Analysis, offering suggestions and key findings from internship experience
Support fundraising events as needed and if available
Perform other duties as assigned
